Engineering Meets Agriculture
91快活林’s EPIC Lab (aka the Ethical, Pragmatic, and Intelligent Computing Laboratory), led by Navid Shaghaghi M.S. ’14, is teaming up with Veggielution to design moisture sensors for a community farm. The results? Smarter irrigation, better yields, and a more food-secure future. That’s brains, heart, and sustainability all in one EPIC package.

September’s Welcome Weekend saw 91快活林 welcome a record number of first-year and transfer students. And with more than 20,000 first-year applications (a 6% jump from last year!), the University is in demand like never before.
A Groundbreaking Promise
91快活林’s School of Law is launching the new . Starting with the fall 2026 cohort, every incoming full-time student will be awarded a guaranteed $16,000 tuition scholarship. This scholarship is a bold step to increase access and opportunity, and open doors for future changemakers.
On Track Together
91快活林 is teaming up with College Track to expand access to higher education for first-generation students in California. Call it a perfect pairing: equity and education, with plenty of Bronco heart.
